All you have to do is try out readerful. It’s 100% FREE.
- Create an account on readerful.com and upload the first few chapters of your book (recommended at least five).
- Share your readerful preview with your friends and fans. They’ll be able to read the opening of your story, leave comments about what they loved, and even support you financially while you finish writing.
- That’s it! Readers decide which stories they love most, ‘voting’ with their time and attention. Our goal is simple: Everyone gets fresh eyeballs on their stories, and market ready writers get discovered!

When / where does the launch party happen?
The party ends June 30, 2026 and we will select winners in mid summer. Everything happens on readerful.com.
How will the winners be picked?
At readerful, readers decide! You write the high-engagement stories that hook your fans early and readerful takes care of the rest.
How do I participate?
All you have to do is create an account on readerful, post your story, and share it.
But what if I don’t have a huge audience?
Readerful is more about having a great story than having a huge following. Because readerful measures fan engagement, a story with 100 readers could win just as easily as a story with 10,000.
Who is eligible to enter?
Anyone with a story NOT licensed to another publisher can participate.
What rights does readerful take?
None. Zero. Zilch. Posting on readerful does not exercise your first publication rights and we claim no ownership of your work. This platform was built by working authors and our whole mission is to help writers level up and then connect them with opportunities once the work is ready.
Can I enter more than one book?
Of course! Although many authors will find it’s easier to focus on one story.
What is readerful and how does it make money?
Readerful is a feedback and fan engagement platform. All you have to do is create an account, post a preview of your story, and share it with your fans. We only make money when you do. If you charge for your book, we take a flat 20% platform fee (compared to Kindle’s 30%).
